Skincare Must-Haves

I'm no dermotologist. Skincare is quite new to me and my routine has always been very simplistic. Regardless, I've recently established a routine that truly benefits my skin. Here, you'll find everything from my current favorite moisturizer to what masks I can't live without. You'll feel squeaky clean after reading this!

The facial cleanser I've been reaching for the most is the Neutrogena ultra gentle daily cleanser. This stuff is great because there's no added fragrance and never irritates my skin. It's ideal for gently removing impurities and keeping your skin squeaky clean.

From time to time, I also enjoy exfoliating my skin. Exfoliating helps remove any dead skin or makeup residue that may be sitting on your face. It also stimulates blood flow and makes your skin feel as soft as a baby's bottom. My favorite exfoliator is the Bio Beauty by nuxe gentle exfoliator. Unlike exfoliators made with plastic beads, this one is packed with fruit seeds. It has been my go-to for years and I highly recommend it.

Next up, we have moisturizer. I don't know about you, but whenever I get out of the shower, my skin feels like a dried up raisin. To relieve my skin from that tight feeling, I use the belief aqua bomb moisturizer. It has a light gel consistency which makes it soak up into the skin fast. Who doesn't love blemishes...said no one ever. Let's face it, whether it's that time of the month or you forgot to remove your makeup the night before, breakouts are inevitable. My number one tip for removing blemishes is to drink A LOT of water. Aside from that, I use tea tree oil to reduce my pimples to almost nothing. Tea tree oil has antibacterial properties that help reduce the look of pimples, acne, whiteheads and blackheads. It has a strong sent that you do get used to after a while. When it comes to showing my skin some love, I always gravitate towards a mask. Whether I want to moisturize my skin or remove unwanted friends, I love treating my skin to a good mask. Not only is it beneficial for your skin, but masks allow you to unwind and relax at any time of the day.
